Nazan had a drum used in the XVIII century by military bands. He was proud of his possesion and often dreamed that the very same fine instrument could have been used by Haydn or Mozart or at least at the the important performances of the military Turkish music. He preferably would feel the urge to donate it to a museum or at least frame it, but then he wouldnt be able to use it anymore.
